Father's Day: A Special Holiday in My Life
A father is a hero. Being a father is a very hard work. Sometimes you want to give up but you will worry about the future of your children. Spite of the problems, a father never gives up. He will do anything even his own life for the sake of his children. He is like a mother bear that always protects her child from any harm. So it is very right to give our fathers a salute for the hardships that they've been through for us.
Last Father's Day, I had a very nice time with my dad. We talked for a long time. Talking with your dad for a long time is very precious thing for him because he can't feel us when he's at work.We should do our best for them for we are nothing if our fathers do not exist. Love is the greatest gift we have for our fathers. Love always have a very special place in our hearts,so why not give love on Father's Day? We should not forget to give thanks to our fathers, even a single "thank you and I love you dad!" makes our fathers happy and relieved. We should ask for nothing because he gave us his everything from the single coin in his pocket to the tremendous hardships he had taken from work. An " I love you too, son/daughter " is very light to the heart. He will not refuse to do anything for us even if it takes his life, that's how our fathers love us. Even a wonderful person makes mistakes. Fathers are men also and they have weaknesses ( women, beers, etc.), telling him to persuade such bad acts is very important for the bond of the family. Reminding him of how much you love him is a very important way to make your dad happy. Doing everything for your father until the end of his life is a thing you should force yourself to do.
We should be thankful that we have our fathers that love us and care for us. We are very lucky because some children grow up without even knowing their dads. Truly, a father is a gift to a child as a child a gift to his father. We should love and care for them for they are treasures that always give themselves to us.
"Adrian A. Pangilinan is truly worth dying for."
