Father's Day: A Special Holiday in My Life

A father is a hero. Being a father is a very hard work. Sometimes you want to give up but you will worry about the future of your children. Spite of the problems, a father never gives up. He will do anything even his own life for the sake of his children. He is like a mother bear that always protects her child from any harm. So it is very right to give our fathers a salute for the hardships that they've been through for us.
Last Father's Day, I had a very nice time with my dad. We talked for a long time. Talking with your dad for a long time is very precious thing for him because he can't feel us when he's at work.We should do our best for them for we are nothing if our fathers do not exist. Love is the greatest gift we have for our fathers. Love always have a very special place in our hearts,so why not give love on Father's Day? We should not forget to give thanks to our fathers, even a single "thank you and I love you dad!" makes our fathers happy and relieved. We should ask for nothing because he gave us his everything from the single coin in his pocket to the tremendous hardships he had taken from work. An " I love you too, son/daughter " is very light to the heart. He will not refuse to do anything for us even if it takes his life, that's how our fathers         love us. Even a wonderful person makes mistakes. Fathers are men also and they have weaknesses              ( women, beers, etc.), telling him to persuade such bad acts is very important for the bond of the family. Reminding him of how much you love him is a very important way to make your dad happy. Doing everything for your father until the end of his life is a thing you should force yourself to do.
We should be thankful that we have our fathers that love us and care for us. We are very lucky because some children grow up without even knowing their dads. Truly, a father is a gift to a child as a child a gift to his father. We should love and care for them for they are treasures that always give themselves to us.

Expectations: The Third Year Highschool Experience

Third year student, that is what I am. Expectations come from my mind like the speed of light. Being nervous is very common in students who are the same with my situation. It is preferred to stay quiet than to make noise. It is best to sit in a corner and ignore your classmates. That was my first insight when I become a junior student. Familiar yet strange faces are seen in the school. Teachers could scold, growl, or even hit you with the chalk. But then, somehow, my expectations changed when I saw my teachers and my classmates.
Sometimes, I forget that I am a Junior student now. I become juvenile and naughty. But then there are teachers that correct me when I was wrong. Mrs. Berganos is not so easy to describe. Being our adviser, she should often scold us but I think she is a strict but friendly teacher. Mrs. Nazareno is a nice teacher. I used to see her in the canteen but I didn't know that she would be our AP teacher. I hope she doesn't belittle me, or else, it's showtime again. Sir Ces used to be our teacher in Basic Stat but now he teaches us Adv Stat. everyone knew that he is a joker and also a genius in math. So I also stick to that belief. Mrs. Ligsa is a wonderful teacher she is an amazing Española. "Señora Maricar habla en español". I like Spanish but I'm not sure if the statement was in correct grammar. Mrs. Soriano always ask us to write LPONs ( boring yet easy to understand). She is a kind and busy teacher, when we do our LPONs she always do something important so we just have to understand that she truly is a busy teacher. Mrs. Malimban is a very exciting and joyful teacher. She can always go on with the flow of the students. And in addition, she is BEAUTIFUL. Mrs. Arceo, I see her as any Math teacher is, um,strict. I hope she can go with the flow also like Mrs. Malimban. Mrs. del Rosario is very kind to us. She also is a mild and calm teacher. She can enjoy our likes and understand our behaviors. Teachers are sometimes hard to understand.

Teachers are easy on the outside but difficult inside. They can feel and understand your feelings. They are like our second parents and friends. Sometimes they scold us yet they always loved us. I know that teachers never want us to be slow learners.True teachers are the one who are always there for us.
Expectations are but nothing when reality sinks to our lives.
